- My parents had a holiday home in Salcombe from when I was about eight. All our school holidays were spent there and I developed a love for the place and all associated activities. My wife Penny is from Salcombe and we married there in 1980. Our children and now grandchildren continue our close Association.
- We moved here permanently in 2020 having had an architectural practice in London.
- My professional experience is widespread, but I’ve always been involved with the RIBA, many conservation area advisory groups and trusts.
- I have joined the town council to help protect and enhance the unique environment and townscape. I hope there can be more dialogue with the town and local government, and that Salcombe’s voice is heard, respected and acted upon.
